Obtaining an E101 / A1 certificate for healthcare within the EU

• An A1 certificate is required when an employee employed in Hungary and works in another EU country on assignment basis. The E101 application is entitled to prove the payment of the social security contribution; this is called an A1 certificate.
• An A1 certificate must be obtained by all seconded persons, regardless of whether they are legally resident in the other Member State.
